Becoming an AI specialist for the new AI era
The way work gets done is changing at its foundation. This is a turning point on the scale of the arrival of the internet and the PC, if not a larger one. My aim is to be an AI specialist who can tell you what is actually possible in this new era.
We understand that parts of AI are met with reluctance. Even so, what we want to automate with AI and DX is the work someone was straining to carry — the work that only got done because somebody suffered through it. Automate that, and a company's PDCA cycle visibly speeds up and growth accelerates. We have watched it happen with our own eyes.
You may well have people in-house who know AI. What we offer beyond that is the conviction of having committed ourselves to it. Placing an AI specialist outside your company is how you bring in the equivalent of more than a hundred people's worth of capacity. We promise to keep up with what is new, fit it properly to each company, and show you how work gets done in this new era.
Our Name
About the name "Mihata"
Raise your banner. We help you grow it.
Mihata started out designing logos and brand identities.
Working on those logos, I came to see them as the modern version of a samurai family crest. Raise a banner and people gather beneath it; allies join, and the group grows. A company logo today plays much the same role.
We wanted to be the company that stands beside the people raising those banners and helps them grow. That is where the name Mihata — from mihata, an honoured banner — comes from.
There is a second, playful meaning layered on top: mihata is one sound away from mikata, the Japanese word for ally. We are on your side, supporting your banner with our own expertise in AI, IT and design.
Our Beliefs
What we hold to
01
One person, a hundred people's worth of capacity
Add one person who understands AI and you bring in the equivalent of more than a hundred people's worth of capacity. You don't add headcount; the people you already have get more done. That is the most concrete effect AI has.
02
What AI replaces is work someone was straining to carry
The first thing AI takes on is almost always the task somebody was quietly enduring. We don't treat it as a tool for cutting headcount.
03
People move further upstream
The hours that open up go back into judgement, planning and talking with customers — the work only that person can do. Adopting AI is not about having fewer people; it is about giving their time back to somewhere meaningful.

We answer with results
Revenue up, costs down. The only relationship that truly lasts is one you are glad to continue.
