Your clock tells you before each meeting

How we handle Google user data

We only read events — Mihata never stores them

Here is what Pomo Clock reads through the Google Calendar integration and how it is handled. See section 9 of our Privacy Policy for details.

What we read
Only events from one hour ago to about 20 hours ahead on the primary calendar of each connected account (start and end time, title, location, conferencing link and your own response status), plus the account's email address so we can show which accounts are connected. We never write to your calendar.
How it's used
Solely to show your next event on the clock and to alert you before a meeting starts. Never for advertising, analytics or AI training, and never shared with third parties. No one at Mihata reads your event data.
Where event contents go
Your browser receives events directly from Google and processes them only in the browser. They are never sent to or stored on Mihata's servers.
The key that keeps you connected
The refresh token issued by Google is encrypted by Mihata's server and stored only in an HttpOnly cookie in your browser (unreadable by page scripts). It is not stored in any Mihata database.
How to disconnect
Use “Disconnect” in the Business panel at any time; this also revokes access on Google's side. You can also revoke it from “Third-party apps & services” in your Google Account.

Pomo Clock's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes. Every feature is free, with no sign-up or login (connecting Google Calendar only needs your permission in your Google account).

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Just open it in the browser on iPhone, iPad or Android. Add it to your home screen to use it full screen like an app, and keep the screen awake while it runs.

Where are my settings and logs stored?

Only in your browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to our servers, so clearing your browser data also clears them.

Will calendar changes show up?

Events are re-read every five minutes, and again when you return to the tab or wake your device, so new or moved meetings are picked up quickly.

Will the connection keep dropping?

Once connected, temporary network problems never disconnect you. Only a real disconnection, such as revoking access in Google, shows “connection lost” under the clock, where you can reconnect.

Can I use a company Google Workspace account?

Yes, unless your administrator restricts third-party apps. If so, please ask your administrator.
